Whitney brings her extensive knowledge of modern men’s grooming, classic barbering techniques, and current trends in the men’s fashion industry from years of tailoring her craft. After graduating from Stewart School in 2008, Whitney seamlessly transitioned into the industry as an entrepreneur and full service stylist for 4 years before moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota when she chose to specialize in men’s hair cutting. She apprenticed under international educator and world renowned master hair artisan, Kurt Kueffner of MENSDEPT. where she underwent rigorous top-level training.
Whitney’s interest is deeply embedded in creative design and sculpting, editorial photo work, and catering to high-end and creative clientele. To continue building her brand and acquire mastery over her craft, she joined award winning HAUS Salon as the Men’s Specialist where her primary focus is on men’s hair analysis to ensure high quality cut, design, and unprecedented service. Soon after, Whitney teamed with HAUS to co-create the HAUSmen brand while she concurrently became the Men’s Director at both HAUS locations. Part of Whitney’s priorities are embedded in her passion to design and deploy curriculum to enhance men’s culture setting new precedents in the industry.
As of 2015, Whitney has moved her recognition to a national level when she was extended a spot on the Baxter of California education team. Soon she will be garnering certification through Baxter’s academy in West Hollywood. Whitney continues to build partnerships through freelance education and stays current by collaborating with talented artists on editorial projects to expand her portfolio. It is also of importance to note her work in releasing a solo NAHA collection and team collection in 2015.
